Easter is a colorful and festive holiday celebrated in spring. On Easter Sunday many families go to church. Also, some cities have an Easter parade. They dress in nice clothes, wear beautiful bonnets and walk in the parade to celebrate and enjoy the holiday.

A funny tradition is painting or dying Easter eggs. These eggs are put into beautiful Easter baskets.

Other activity is Easter egg hunt. Parents hide chocolate eggs at home or in the garden and children look for them.

Another activity is Easter egg roll. Easter egg roll on the south lawn of the White House has been an American Easter tradition since 1867!

Look at Easter Bunny! He is said to bring baskets filled with colored eggs, candies and toys to children on the night before Easter.

Easter holiday contains many items that symbolize the beginning of the spring season such as baby chicks and bunnies.

Hot cross buns are traditionally eater on Good Friday.

At our school, we have worked on Easter too and Easter Bunny has visited us!
